I believe the first step to establish successful and effective start-up is to design timeless logo and brand. Unfortunately, The business’s owners and alot of people do not understand exactly how the a good logo is important and how it is important to their business. Actually, I spent alot of time in thinking and brainstorm to find high quality concept and professional logo design for Logo Talks. Therefore, I could not publish the logo when i launched Logo Talks in the beginning of 2010, till i finalising the design. Here is my design process and a walkthrough of how the final logo is created.
The Design Brief:
One of the reasons that let me to delay to publish the logo is the aims and message of Logo Talks. I was busy to setting the goals for Logo Talks. Here is a bit of background information on Logo Talks:
Logo Talks is great platform and resource designed for designers, students and everyone who interested in all about logo, brand, typeface and typography. We love everything about logo and typography, therefor you will find high quality content in Logo Talks.
Our vision and aims to make Logo Talks a great and best guide on the internet to learn more about logo design and typography by professional authors and share their knowledge with the design communities.
Research and reference:
After the aims and message was clarified to me, I started search about idea. Actually, The main point that i wanted to pick up on was designing unique concept and idea which consists mainly of Uniqueness and Creativity. I think the research stage is one of the most important step in logo design process, Becouse you need to be ensures that your logo will be differ from other concepts and designs.
Drafting and Development:
The next step of the process was sketching and developing the logo. Depends on design brief and research So it is the time to sketching my ideas on the paper. Actually, I brainstormed and sketched down my ideas, then i experimented them on the computer. The challenge that i had when designing logo for Logo Talks was trying to avoid traditional concepts like bubble, So I had looking for unique idea and concept. Below you will find some sketches that I did for Logo Talks.

Logo development:
I decided to make an unique shape and concept for my final logo. It was based around creating human mind in a creative and clever shape, which making it timeless, memorable and identifiable logo.

Typeface:
The process of selection a typeface is one the most important and the hardest step in logo design because you will experimenting with the logo design to find the best typeface for your logo. One of the reasons that make it hard job is the large number of typefaces that make you confused sometimes. The typeface was chosen is Triplex Serif

Concept Development:
After I had found the right and suitable typeface, Now it is the time to development the concept and design to find the final and suitable logo .

Colour:
The colours was chosen are Yellow, Orange and Gray. Below you will see the final concept and colours.

Final solution:

Rob Janoff worked on many high tech accounts including, most notably, a new start-up called Apple Computer. He designed the now famous Apple Computer logo and all of Apple’s introductory graphics and advertising. The idea is interesting though I thought it was based around a quote mark when saw it first time.
