Announcing the Winners of Wolda ’09

Wolda, the Worldwide Logo Design Annual, has announced the winners of its 2009 book “09 Wolda”. The judges have selected 192 logos from nearly 2000 entries from all over the world. The winners are as follows: The overall winner is “Circus of Magazines” logo designed by Olivier Courbet for the online magazine marketplace. In the student category Wolda Talent, Keo Pierron from Texas, USA was the overall winner with the “Ponzu Sushi house” logo.

Wolda is the high-profile graphic design award scheme that rewards the best logos and trademarks designed throughout the world, creating an archive that tracks the evolution of tastes, styles and trends in global design, year after year. Wolda is the only awards scheme in the world endorsed by more than 100 design associations and schools. Designers, agencies, studios and students from all over the world are invited to enter.
